The picturesque town of Langebaan in the Saldanha district is the playground of the Cape West Coast Peninsula, and natural water sport haven, within an hours’ drive from Cape Town. Its’ sandy beaches and calm waters borders the West Coast national Park and boast restaurants and accommodation on the banks of the Lagoon. These waters are well known as a paradise for bird watchers and is also the place where “Eve’s Footprint” was discovered. Our ancient history can further be explored at the Fossil Park just outside of town where the fossils of bears, sabre tooth cats, short necked giraffes and many other exotic animals, which inhabited the west cost some 5 million years ago, can be viewed. Albatross Guest House is proudly situated in Langebaan and wishes you a warm welcome in the West Coast.

Albatross offers 4 non smoking double rooms with private entrances, each with a small kitchenette for guests who wish to keep, and prepare personal meals. Alternatively she offers our own chef’s designed fresh produce breakfast as ordered, can pack your lunch box, and will make a reservation at a restaurant of your choice for dinner. If you do not feel like stepping out for dinner we will order a take out meal, or get one of our well known West Coast chefs to prepare some serious soul food to indulge in in the comfort of the house. We also offer braai facilities in a relaxing garden setting for the visiting braai masters.

Breakfast is served in the main house where the morning papers and news are available for those guests who wish to remain in touch with world events. Weather permits we enjoy breakfast in the garden. For those who wish to further stay in touch DSTV and WiFi access are available in all rooms.

A deposit of 50% per EFT is required as confirmation of the booking
The full balance is payable in cash on arrival, or prior to arrival per EFT, if preferred

Cancellation Policy:

Full refund 4 weeks prior to arrival
For late cancellations a full refund will be given provided the accommodation can be resold.
No refund will be made in the event of a no show or early departure.
A 5% administration fee will be levied on all refunds to cover banking and handling charges
