At Karee Krans we offer the following accommodation and camp sites:
6 sleeper chalet (R150pppn – min 4ppl)- There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. There is a bunk bed in the lounge with a kitchen and bathroom.
Hobbit Bungalow (R350 per night for the unit) – This tiny, cozy little cabin was built as a project completely from salvage material and nature. Within this tiny little space is a double bed, fireplace and even a little bathroom. It is quite the experience to stay in this bungalow and perfect for couple looking for a cozy weekend
Hunting cabins x 2 (R200 per night per unit) – We have 2 Hunting cabins that share an ablution facility. They are just little wood cabins with 2 single steel beds and mattresses in them (No bedding). This is ideal for people wanting a camping experience without having to bring your own tent and beds.
Dormitories x 2 (R90pppn – min 10ppl) – There are 2 dormitories, each with 25 bunk beds and its own ablution.
Main camp site (R80pppn, R60 kids under 12, Free kids under 2) – At the main camp site there are 9 stands, each with its own braai and plug point. They are all under big shade trees and close to the ablutions with wash up facilities nearby too.
River camp site (R70pppn, R50 kids under 12, Free kids under 2) – 9 beautiful camp sites next to the small stream and nestled under the trees and thick bush. This is the ultimate bush experience. There are ablutions and wash up areas available but no power making it perfect for the bush caravan enthusiasts.
Bush camp site (R80pppn, R60 kids under 12, Free kids under 2) – This camp site is situated in the mountains just off the 4×4 trail and is booked out exclusively to one group at a time. It has no power but has an outside toilet and cold shower. It is only accessible by 4×4 making it the ideal camping spot for 4×4 enthusiasts who want a “get away from it all” experience.
From Pretoria take the N4 all the way into Rustenburg. Continue on the N4 for another 4okm until you see the Hoebome exit on your right (it is a sand road). Continue on the sand road for about 7km till you get to the T junction. Turn left. Within the next few metres you will see our sign taking you right towards our entrance. When you get to the gate please phone for the code.
From Johannesburg take the R24 all the way into Rustenburg. Turn right onto the N4 towards Zeerust. Continue on the N4 for another 4okm until you see the Hoebome exit on your right (it is a sand road). Continue on the sand road for about 7km till you get to the T junction. Turn left.
