FAITH COTTAGE
4 Sleeper: 2 Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and bedroom 2 has twin beds. All have bed linen and electric blankets. The bathroom has a bath with shower over the bath and bath towels are provided. The living room, dining room and kitchen are open plan with a romantic log fireplace. A complimentary basket of firewood will be waiting for you to enjoy the cosy fire. Additional basket of firewood can be purchased at Meadow Lane. The kitchen is fully equipped self-catering kitchen with a microwave, gas stove/oven, fridge/freezer, crockery and cooking utensils. Enjoy a braai on the veranda overlooking the dam.
HOPE COTTAGE
4 Sleeper: 2 Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 has twin beds. All have bed linen and electric blankets. The bathroom has a shower and bath towels are provided. The living room, dining room and kitchen are open plan with a romantic log fireplace. We provide a complimentary basket of firewood and additional firewood can be purchased at Meadow Lane. The kitchen is a fully equipped self-catering kitchen with a microwave, gas stove/oven, fridge/freezer, crockery and cooking utensils. Enjoy a braai on the veranda with the dam in your sights.
GRACE COTTAGE
6 Sleeper: 1 Bedroom, 1 Loft Room
This gorgeous thatch cottage offers 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 4 single beds in the loft with a proper stair case. All with electric blankets. The spacious bathroom has a shower and bath towels are provided. The living and dining area are open plan with a cozy fireplace We provide a complimentary basket of firewood and additional firewood can be purchased at Meadow Lane. This kitchen has a microwave, stove, a bar size fridge/freezer and an excellent supply of crockery and cooking utensils. A carport is available for Grace Cottage vehicle. The outside veranda is great for braais and beautiful views over the property.
JOY COTTAGE
2 Sleeper: Studio
This small but cozy studio cottage has a double bed with all bed linen and an electric blanket. The bathroom has a shower and bath towels are provided. There is a small dining table onto the kitchenette which is well equipped with microwave, gas stove/oven, fridge/freezer and an excellent supply of crockery and cooking utensils. A heater is provided in this cottage. Enjoy a braai on the veranda while taking in the tranquil scenery.
COMING FROM DURBAN
- Take the N3 past Pietermaritzburg towards Howick
- Just before Howick take the off ramp to the left marked Underberg / Bulwer R617
- Follow the signs all the way to Underberg (approximately) 110kms
- Go through the town of Underberg still on the R617 Kokstad Road
- ±4 km outside Underberg turn right at the sign to Drakensberg Gardens Resort
- Drive 3.7kms along the Drakensberg Gardens Road and turn right at the Meadow Lane Country Cottages board
- Follow the signs for 800m until you reach Meadow Lane Country Cottages
COMING FROM JOHANNESBURG
- On the N3 coming past Howick, take the exit marked Underberg/Howick South
- Turn right and drive under the bridge and carry on straight on the Underberg/Bulwer Road R617
- Follow the signs all the way to Underberg for (approximately) 110kms
- Go through the town of Underberg still on the R617 Kokstad Road
- ±4 km outside Underberg turn right at the sign to Drakensberg Gardens Resort
- Drive 3.7kms along the Drakensberg Gardens Road and turn right at the Meadow Lane Country Cottages board
- Follow the signs for 800m until you reach Meadow Lane Country Cottages
COMING FROM KOKSTAD
- When you reach Kokstad follow the sign through Kokstad to the R617
- Continue on that road for 42kms and then turn right towards Underberg
- Stay on the R617 for another 60km
- Nearing Underberg and crossing the Umzimkulu bridge, turn immediately left at the Drakensberg Gardens Resort sign
- You are now on the Drakensberg Gardens Road
- Drive 3.7kms along the Drakensberg Gardens Road and turn right at the Meadow Lane Country Cottages board
- Follow the signs for 800m until you reach Meadow Lane Country Cottages
