Farm Animals, Pony Riding…
This is a true farm-stay experience with Heidi, the goat, plus chickens, turkeys and ducks for the children to feed and a pony for young children to ride farm-style! A drive in the back of a bakkie to watch the sunset from a hill-top.
Swimming, Games…
There is a sparkling pool warmed with solar heating, various ball games, a children’s play area – away from the accommodation, but close enough to keep an eye. It consists of an old tractor to play on, a jungle gym and a trampoline.
The latest added attractions for the children are a games room, an obstacle course and a bicycle track – so don’t forget to bring your bikes! A fantasy maze for the kids and a labyrinth for the adults.
Our two Ridgebacks are a favourite with everyone (even those who are afraid of dogs). They love people and especially children and will most likely accompany you on all your walks! We do ask that you don’t feed them any snacks though.
Child (& Pet) Care
For those weary Mums who need an hour or two’s break, our staff will take your children for a walk. Our staff are attentive, careful and caring but you will be required to sign an indemnity should you wish to take this option.
We are pet friendly but do need your dogs to be socialized and no more than 2 dogs per cottage.
