If you are ever on the Atlantic side of Cape Town, looking for something to do with your kids, why not take a ride on the mini Blue Train?
Situated on Beach Road, Mouille Point (next to the Putt Putt course and light house) you will be taken on a ride around the promenade, chugging along tracks close to the beach. They are open 09h00 – 18h00 everyday (Monday-Sunday) provided there is no rain. Ticket rides are R8 per person and the train leaves every 15 minutes from the platform, so there is no need to book. Other fun activities on offer are rock climbing, sand art and a jumping castle. Birthday parties are a big part of what they do, so please phone if you would like to have your next party at the Blue Train! Profits from the Blue Train help support the various charity projects of the Rotary Club of Sea Point.
