The Bryanston Organic & Natural Market has, for the past 39 years, been a haven of calm in the busy city where you can enjoy leisurely shopping in a peaceful and scenic outdoor environment. It carries the accolade of being Johannesburg\u2019s original outdoor market and is a place of relaxed enjoyment for the whole family.<\/p>\n

Our quality artisanal products are locally produced from organic and natural sources, and the farmers, artists and crafters are in attendance to assist you with your shopping choices. The shopping options include exclusive jewellery, trendy costume jewellery, clothing and a wide range of accessories, d\u00e9cor, homeware, ceramics and pottery.<\/p>\n

Then there are finely hand crafted wood, leather, glass and metal wares, art, photography and sculpture, curios and collectables. Health & Wellness stalls abound, and several stalls offer a selection of children\u2019s toys and activities such as sand art and candle making.<\/p>\n

Organic and natural food that is additive free and uncontaminated was the cornerstone upon which the market was developed, and organic and natural fresh produce, delicatessen foods and delectable bakery wares continue to be a large part of the market. In between shopping, enjoy a tranquil break at one of our five coffee shops where you can enjoy a nutritious and healthy light meal or a decadent slice of homemade cake and cappuccino.<\/p>\n

The Bryanston Organic & Natural Market is a registered fund raising trust and part of the Michael Mount Waldorf School. All profits of the market go towards the development of the school\u2019s infrastructure and Waldorf education.<\/p>\n

The focus of the market is on the good health and physical wellbeing of the soil, plants, animals, humans and the planet alike, in a community environment that offers wholesome fun, food and artistic flair.<\/p>\n
