Eagle Waters is situated on the banks of Hartbeespoort Dam, on land which falls under the Department of Water Affairs. The resort is privately managed and kept in excellent condition through entrance fees:

Directions
Leaving Johannesburg,
Head north on Malibongwe Drive (R512), past Lanseria Airport.
Pass Lesedi Cultural Village and continue on to the T-junction.
Turn left and follow the road through Broederstrom,
after which the R512 makes a swing to the right.
As you see the Mountain Lake Shopping Centre (Spar, Total Garage) on your right, turn into Oberon road and follow it straight all the way. There are a few potholes on the first 200 m.
You will cross a small bridge, then keep going to another T-junction.
Swing left, and you come up to the Eagle Waters entrance.
