If you are ever in the Plett area with your family – especially if it’s hot – you have to visit Adventure Land water park. The park is centrally situated along the Garden Route between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, just 3km from Garden of Eden.
Set in a beautiful natural setting on a 24 hectare property, you can enjoy a braai or a picnic while the kids have a blast on the water slides. It’s fun for adults too!
For the little ones there is a 25m mini supertube, a mini free fall slide and a mini kamikaze slide that plunges into a kiddies pool. This is slightly separate from the rest of the slides, so smaller kids can enjoy a safe environment away from the ruffians.
For bigger kids and adults they offer a 75m long supertube, the kamakazi slide and a 12m high free fall slide, sure to make you scream. Not for the faint hearted the “raging rapid” tube ride will definitely get your heart pumping!
The Park also offers a play area with swings, trampolines, jungle gym and lots more. For the hungry ones there is a takeaway kiosk and braai facilities.
The locals in Plett and Knysna make it a regular spot for a fun day out, but if you are just passing through, they also offer Tourism Graded, 4 Star accommodation at Coral Tree Cottages. It is an ideal base for exploring the Garden Route. Other attractions nearby include the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and the Knysna Elephant Park.
Note: The water park is FREE for guests staying at Coral Tree Cottages.
Park Times: Open 10am to 5pm
Water Park closed during winter (May to August).
