At Close Range
At the Two Oceans Aquarium our kids ran wild. They had the opportunity to see fascinating marine animals, real close, and we could not keep them still for a second. From the minute they walked in, their eyes were agog!

If you are ever in the Plett area with your family – especially if it’s hot – you have to visit Adventure Land water park. The park is centrally situated along the Garden Route between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, just 3km from Garden of Eden.
A Day at the Ranch
The Cango Wildlife Ranch offers far more than the average zoo. We recently went to Oudtshoorn while staying in Mossel Bay for a short holiday and spent the day at the ranch. It wasn’t the cheapest outing we’ve had as a family, but we all loved the experience and it was definitely worth it.
Monkey Around
A very popular family outing near Somerset West is Monkey Town Primate Centre. This wildlife centre for monkeys and apes has more than 230 animals and 28 different exotic species including Tammy, Ruby, and Sunny, their famous chimp sisters.
